The UTD system was designed for the US Military for use in it's MRAP vehicle fleet as a Universal Tie Down system. It's purpose is to secure internal/external componentry and equipment thereby protecting soldiers from blast/projectile occurences. As expected, the application environment demanded extreme load capacities, quick release/connect operations, and unsurpased safety, quality, and performance.
